Great Railways of Scotland
Described as one of the great railway journeys of the world the 84 mile round trip aboard the Jacobite Steam Train takes you past a list of impressive extremes. Starting near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis, we depart Fort William passing close by the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, Loch Morar and the shortest river in Britain, River Morar, before arriving next to the deepest seawater loch in Europe, Loch Nevis at Mallaig. We also include a trip on scenic Kyle Line travelling across the Northern Highlands from the Kyle of Lochalsh to Dingwall. This wonderful holiday is based in the highland resort of Fort William, itself full of interest.
