Beatles Magical Mystery Tour – Michael

You cannot help but know of the musical legacy that the Beatles created and the hysteria that surrounded their rise to fame in the sixties and still eclipses most bands today…One Direction may give them a bit of run for their money.

Crusader Holidays themed break showcases the best of the Beatles from where it all started at the birthplaces of John, Paul, George and Ringo, to the clubs they played in the 1960’s on there way to stardom and the iconic places that inspired many of the Beatles lyrics, like strawberry fields.

Magical Mystery Tour

Beatlemania gripped Britain in the mid 1960’s and it did not stop there as the ‘Fab Four’ lead the British invasion of the United States, where they still remain the best selling artists of all time outselling the likes of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.

You wholeheartedly relive this amazing journey upon the visit to the Beatles Story exhibition, as you experience the Casbah, Mathew Street, Abbey Road Studios and The Cavern, all iconic venues that helped thrust the Beatles towards worldwide musical domination. It doesn’t stop there; the exhibition also details the paths taken by John, Paul, George and Ringo after life with the Beatles.

Magical Mystery Tour

During your 3 day break you stay in the vibrant city of Liverpool with it’s wealth of culture and heritage. On Saturday afternoon we enjoy a leisurely cruise along the river Mersey and gaze at the unrivalled and ever evolving UNESCO world heritage waterfront from the deck of this world-famous ferry.

Menton Lemon Festival – Sam

As if enjoying the Italian and French Riviera was not exciting enough with warm weather, golden beaches and plenty of beautiful towns & villages to explore. Well throw in 145 tonnes of locally grown oranges and lemons, 300 professional artists and sculptors that create amazing floats, statues, landscapes and even buildings!.

Menton Sculpture

I would provide one bit of advice, make sure you bring your camera or one of these modern camera phones, as some of the floats that chug past during the Sunday parade you attend are unbelievable and you will need to photograph them otherwise your friends will never believe what can be crafted from thousands of Oranges & Lemons!. Not to mention eye opening sculptures that you cannot help but stop and stand in awe at how someone can create such incredible things from the humble citrus fruits.
